Our main goal is to develop a happy, well adjusted child. To reach this goal will be through effective teaching and discipline. We will provide the materials for "free learning in a controlled environment".
Our mission is to become the leading provider in Early Childhood Education in the tri-state area by offering students the competitive advantage to early learning intuitiveness in a child-friendly environment and techniques. We are committed to providing excellent Child Care and Elementary Education from Nursery thru Grade 6 through effective teaching and discipline and by implementing an innovative, diverse curriculum based on exposures to all areas of Science, Language Arts, Mathematics, Drama and Music. As a service-oriented business, it is built on providing an increasingly essential need to a highly demanding clientele. The Administration and staff of Little Flower Day Care Center and Preparatory School feels that it is essential for the home and the school to work together for the benefit of the child. We hope to provide each child with the feeling of security and adequacy outside the home to live and play with their peers. This offers them an early opportunity to develop positive attitudes about themselves and others.
We feel that it is essential for the home and the school to work together for the benefit of the child. We hope to provide each child with the feeling of security and adequacy outside the home; to live and play with their peer group. This offers them an early opportunity to develop positive attitudes about themselves and others. We strive to help each child to reach their social, emotional and intellectual potential.
Little Flower is fully cognizant of the new State requirements of the NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND ACT, hence our educational objective is that every student follows a very rigorous and accelerated above grade level.
Students in the elementary grades one thru six are introduced to subjects in English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Foreign Language, The Arts (Music and Dance), Physical and Health Education, Technology, Library Literacy, and Workplace Skills.
Students in grades 3 through 6 sits the State's ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies exams, many of which obtain Level 3's and 4's which indicates a mastery of the subjects.
All grade students perform outstandingly well on the Stanford 9 Achievement Tests above their grade level and post high school in many subjects.
We are also excited about the fact that our grade six graduates are accepted into many gifted schools.
Our kids are excited about school and are eager to learn !!!
