Christine Pigott

Present Occupation & Accomplishments:
Senior student at Brooklyn College double majoring in Information Systems and Television & Radio with a strong passion for producing and directing short films and documentaries. (see her work  here and  here).
Other Interests:
In addition to being a filmmaker and a student, she is also a martial artist, a musician, a karate instructor, a Jeannette K. Watson Fellow and a Fellow of the CUNY Malave Leadership Academy.
Future Goals & Plans:
She plans on pursing a Master’s Degree in a media related field. She also has entrepreneurial endeavors of eventually opening up a modern recreational/fitness center that will offer a wide spectrum of sports at an affordable price, allowing the youth from lower income families to have the same opportunities as those who are financially well off.

Krystalyn Azikiwe

Present Occupation & Accomplishments:
At present, Ms. Azikiwe is a second grade teacher at a top charter school in New York City. As a primary school student of Little Flower Preparatory and a collegiate scholar of Howard University, Ms. Azikiwe understands the importance of a quality education that instills a thirst to learn and a love to give back to your community. While on the summer break from teaching, Krystalyn is interning with a digital publishing company which seeks to improve literacy in today’s youth.
Other Interests:
Krystalyn enjoys dance – African and contemporary styles in particular – rollerblading, creating mixed media art, immersing herself in the Brooklyn culture, while also appreciating traveling around the world.
Future Goals & Plans:
Krystalyn plans on pursuing a Doctoral degree in Educational Psychology. She plans to research educational best practices around the globe to create programs for students and parents interested in intercultural educational immersion.

Rubensky Calixte

Present Occupation & Accomplishments:

Graduated in 2006 with a Electrical Engineer degree at University of Florida.
In 2011 completed Master's degree in Business Administration and presently lives and works in Florida for a Consulting company.

Ronaldo Byrd

Present Occupation & Accomplishments

Ronaldo Byrd is an artist who happens to be on the autistic spectrum. Born and raised for most of his life in New York City, Ronaldo began painting and drawing at the age of three.
He attended the High School of Art and Design before moving to Burlington, New Jersey with his family.
He is a graduate of the Art Instruction School, which is known for alumni member the late Charles Schulz of "Peanuts fame. He attended the Art Instruction School when he was only 14 years old.
Byrd creates art to show the beauty in the world and its inhabitants.
He says "My artwork focuses on the fact that everyone is beautiful. There is beauty in everything I see and everyone has something to offer. My art represents differences and my hope is that the world can see beauty and acceptance through my eyes. The eyes of an artist."
